BD Alpine Avy Safety Set

The Alpine Avy Safety Set from Black Diamond is a compelling set of light and fast backcountry skiing safety gear. The professional SKU makers at BD have combined the svelte Recon LT beacon with the impressive Transfer LT shovel and a Quickdraw Carbon 240 probe. If you prefer to travel on the lighter side, this package fits great in a lightweight ski pack and provides the tools necessary to rescue a companion or be rescued by one. The 50m search range on the LT beacon will allow you to pick up a signal and start your search in no time. After your fine search phase, plunge in with the included 240cm probe and its oversized alloy tip. When you start digging with the light-but-strong aluminum Transfer LT shovel you will have the leverage you need to break up compacted snow due to the telescoping shaft. Light with all the safety gear you want to have with you in the backcountry, the Black Diamond Alpine Avy Set will have you cruising through the alpine with confidence.
